Teresa Ribeiro

Born in Lisbon, this artist studied Textile Arts at the António Arroio School of Decorative Arts and holds a degree in Design from the Lisbon School of Fine Arts. She has taught Contemporary Tapestry courses at the Casa da Juventude e da Cultura de Alverca do Ribatejo as well as in her own studio. She was a member of the Cooperative of Culture “Arte da Tapeçaria e do Têxtil” (ATT) until 1988 and currently works as a Visual Education teacher. Her works can be found in both public and private collections in Portugal and abroad. She is a member of the International Academy of Contemporary Arts in Belgium and the Association of Artists of France.
