Teresa Morgado

Born in Mozambique in 1948, the artist is a graduate of the School of Fine Arts in Lisbon. In 1991, she was awarded the 2nd Prize for Printmaking in the Tribute to João Hogan, and in 1999, she held a solo exhibition at the Enquadrar Gallery in Aveiro. Her work has been featured in various exhibitions, including the 1999 2nd Festival of Printmaking in Évora and the República Gallery in Santarém. She also participated in the 1998 6th Biennial of Printmaking in Évora and the collective printmaking exhibition “The Sea and the Oceans” at the Discoveries Monument in Lisbon. Notable mentions include the “Prémio S. João” in 1989 at the Árvore Cooperative in Porto, the 4th International Biennial Print Exhibit in China, and the 7th Prémio Grabado Máximo Ramos in Spain. In 1971, her work was showcased at the Diário de Notícias Gallery in Lisbon.
