Evelina Oliveira

Evelina Oliveira was born in Abrantes in 1961. Her training includes attending the Drawing course at ESAP; obtaining a Certificate of Specialist in Artistic Illustration from ISEC/University of Évora; completing a Lithography course at Cooperativa Árvore; participating in an Illustration workshop at U.P – taught by Manuela Bacelar; and attending a History of Illustration workshop at ESBAL. She is currently in her second year of the Master’s program in Artistic Illustration at the University of Évora. She received Honorable Mention – 1st Prize in Small Format Painting, Alhos Vedros, 2003. 1st Prize – Afonso Madeira Prize – III Biennial of Plastic Arts of Moita, 2007, and Revelation Prize – III Biennial of Plastic Arts of Moita, 2007. She has participated as an illustrator in various collective editions.

Throughout her career, she has received recognition for her work, including winning the 1st Prize in Small Format Painting and the Afonso Madeira Prize at the III Biennial of Plastic Arts of Moita in 2007. She has also contributed as an illustrator to several collective editions.
