Artur Moreira

Born in Espinho in 1946, this artist graduated in Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, where he later became a professor. He also taught at E.U.A.C. (Coimbra University School of Arts) and in free courses at C Arte S. João da Madeira.

He has exhibited individually in cities such as Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia, Espinho, S. João da Madeira, and Barcelos, and has participated in collective exhibitions such as ESBAP – “European Exhibition of University Drawing” in Lisbon; “Biennial of New Artists” at the Cupertino de Miranda Foundation in Famalicão; “1st Exhibition of Arts by the Porto City Council”; “2nd Biennial of Drawing” at Coop.
